Seton had initially been tapped for a single solo wildcard drive this season at the Ipswich Super440.
Seton will instead contest both events, crucial extra preparation ahead of an enduro co-drive with rookie Zach Bates.
“I don’t want to set any expectations,” Seton told Speedcafe.
“My goal is to go out there and do the best job I possibly can, gain experience and enjoy being out there for two wildcard rounds.
“I think it’s an amazing opportunity and these things don’t come out very often.”

Seton piloted the team’s wildcard chassis at QR, wrapped in Jack Le Brocq’s livery ahead of the wildcard colours being unveiled.

“I’m looking forward to Townsville, I feel like I’m ready for it,” Seton added.
“Obviously, I was prepping for the QR anyway, so my debut has just come a little bit earlier.
“I’m definitely looking forward to the challenge, Townsville is quite a tough track, but it’s been good to me in the past.
“Last time I was there was 2023 in Super2, but it was a good track for us, we got pole that year and finished up the podium in one of the races.”
Each hailing from successful racing families, Seton’s link to Bates dates back to his earliest days of car racing.
“There’s quite a bit of family history there because my first race car was with Bob Pearson in the Evo Xs when I drove with [Zach’s] dad Rick,” Seton added.
“So we go back a long way, and I’m looking forward to reuniting the families.”
The Supercars Championship heads north for the Townsville 500 on July 10-12.
