Staff were informed this week that head of partnerships Mitch Kane and general manager of events Phil Shaw are leaving their posts.
Kane has been recruited by Red Bull and will become its Sydney-based head of motorsport marketing.
The position involves working with the Red Bull-backed Supercars team, integrating with global programs and identifying local talent to feed into its system.
Kane has spent just shy of 10 years with Supercars having joined in 2016 as partnerships manager before graduating to his current role in 2022.
Supercars’ chief revenue officer, Jamie Black, told staff Kane will remain in the business until July 17 to ensure a smooth handover.
“Over nearly a decade, he has played a central role in shaping our partnerships success story setting a high bar for commercial creativity, building authentic and enduring relationships, and consistently delivering results,” Black wrote.

“His fingerprints are across many of our most important successes.”
Shaw is meanwhile departing after 14 years in the business including the last 12 as general manager of events.
News of his impending exit was delivered to staff by chairman and interim CEO Barclay Nettlefold.
“Phil has been an integral part of Supercars over many years, playing a key role in delivering our events and building strong relationships across the industry,” he wrote.
“His contribution to the growth and success of the business has been significant, and we are very grateful for his commitment and dedication.”
Shaw will undertake a handover during the coming months and may continue to contribute to the business on a part-time basis in future.
The key departures come as Supercars searches for a new CEO following the sudden exit of James Warburton at the beginning of April.
It is also looking for a new head of communications amid the impending exit of Matthew Carmichael, who was appointed by Warburton just last year.
