Supercars pit reporter Cameron van den Dungen will join the on-air team as part of the Shannons Nationals live stream at Phillip Island in early June.
Van den Dungen has featured on the Supercars big screen production for several years and recently also on broadcast as a support category pit reporter, as well as working with GPTV to provide track commentary for the Australian and Singapore Grands Prix.
At the Shannons Nationals, van den Dungen will join Greg Rust in pit lane while Darren Smith as host commentator will continue to be joined by category experts.
“The Shannons Nationals is the premiere showcase of national level motor sport in Australia, where you can see the stars of the future and drivers who have had success at an elite level racing on some of Australia's greatest circuits,” said van den Dungen.
“Over the course of the years I have worked very closely with a lot of these teams, drivers and categories and I'm looking forward to being able to spend more time telling their stories to a broader audience.
“The team that CAMS have put together are some of the most talented people, from both a production and commentary point of view, that I have worked with and I can't wait to join ‘Rusty' and the entire live stream team.”
Mike Smith, Shannons Nationals Director, added, “Cameron is a terrific broadcaster who really understands the intricacies of all the different categories that are part of the Shannons Nationals calendar.
“We're looking forward to seeing Cameron and Greg work together with the rest of our production team at this upcoming round at Phillip Island and are really excited about further enhancing the already high quality of our offering of the live stream.”
Round 3 of the Shannons Nationals will be held at Phillip Island on June 1-3, with Australian GT, Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia, Formula 4, and Radical Australia Cup in attendance.
