Touring Car Master's driver Brad Tilley has wound back the clock for motorsport fans on his way to the overall round victory at Mount Panorama today.
Tilley put on a show in his green Ford Falcon GTHO, narrowly winning Race 3 by 0.2928s ahead of John Bowe.
Veteran racer Jim Richards passed Adam Bressington on the last lap to steal 3rd place, in what is only Bressington's third round competing in TCM.
Race 3 started with a bang when Bowe, Eddie Abelnica and Andrew Miedecke went three wide up Mountan Straight on the opening lap.
As a result, Miedecke and Abelnica tangled, forcing Miedecke onto the grass at high speed.
Abelnica in his red Ford Falcon XB was entrenched in a fierce battle with Miedecke, with the two drivers making contact again just one lap later.
Miedecke, who was co-driver for Peter Brock at the 1991 Bathurst 1000, crept home to finish 21st after he spun and kissed the fence at The Cutting.
Brett Youlden was living dangerously as he somehow managed to avoid car damage on two occasions.
Youlden was almost t-boned by Chris Stillwell as he sat in the middle of the circuit at Forrest's Elbow. He then spun one lap later at The Cutting and managed to avoid contact with the wall.
While Abelnica failed to finish due to mechanical drama's following his win in Race 2 earlier this morning.
Bowe finished the round in 2nd overall with the consistent Keith Kassulke rounding out the podium. Newcastle's Steve Mason won the round overall for Class B in his Ford Mustang Fastback.
The final round of the TCM will be held at the Shannon's Nationals at Sandown on November 23-25.
