Andrew Thompson’s Triple Eight Race Engineering Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series entry will feature two new sponsors from Queensland Raceway onwards.
The current points leader’s Monster Energy-backed Commodore will run with the backing of Australian companies Miracle Recreation Equipment and Key Produce at the Coates Hire 300 and the three remaining rounds of the series.
Miracle Recreation Equipment is a family owned and operated business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of playground and recreation equipment and has been servicing the Australian and International market for over 25 years.
Their logo will adorn the headlights, lower front windscreen band, lower bumper, wing endplate and rear bootlid on Thompson’s #80 Commodore.
Key Produce, a West Australian fruit and vegetable wholesaler that is managed by Grubisa, will take up occupancy on the mirrors of the car, joining existing sponsors Monster Energy, GearWrench and Ogio.
Thompson currently leads the Fujitsu Series by 114 points over Sonic Motor Racing’s Jack Perkins.
The Coates Hire 300 at Queensland Raceway is the home race for the Brisbane-based team who are campaigning their first entry in the second-tier series since joining V8 Supercars in 2003.
The Coates Hire 300 at Queensland Raceway will be held on August 19-21.
