Walkinshaw Andretti United (WAU) has released a teaser shot of its 2019 Supercars livery.
The Holden team will take on a new commercial identity this year with the move of Boost Mobile to Garry Rogers Motorsport.
It has now released what appears to be a black and white shot of the rear end of one of its ZB Commodores with the caption “Monday, February 4, 2019,” denoting the day the livery will be fully unveiled.
WAU will again field cars for Scott Pye and James Courtney in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, the latter of whom switches back to #22 after a year racing Car #25 to mark Mobil 1’s 25th year sponsoring the team.
It cycled through four different liveries last year, starting with a predominantly black look before switching to a white base at the Watpac Townsville 400 and then silver from the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
It also rolled out a 2008 Holden Racing Team-style retro livery for the Rabble.Club Sandown 500.
WAU won Race 5 of the season in dark skies at Albert Park courtesy of Pye, who finished seventh in the championship.
