Warren Luff has announced that he will leave Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport at the end of this season.
Luff has endured a difficult year in the Gulf Western Oils Commodore VE, currently running 28th in the points – the last of the regular championship contenders.
Luff advised team owner Lucas Dumbrell of his decision recently, making it official today.
“This year has not lived up to our expectations,” Luff said in a statement.
“We wish LDM all the best for the future and we know they will be a main player in the future.
“The team is still going through a lot of changes including team managers and engineering staff, it’s really hard to get any continuity at this level when things change so many times during the season.”

Luff will contest his last event with the team at the Sydney Telstra 500 in two weeks time.
In his statement, Luff stated that no firm decision have been made about 2012. He has been linked to join TeamVodafone in the V8 Supercars endurance races next year, partnering his Bathurst 12 Hour Audi team-mate Craig Lowndes.
