Speedway GP
Tai Woffinden won his sixth FIM Speedway GP world championship title at the Torun SGP of Poland.
The Brit beat Bartosz Zmarzlik by 10-points in the championship, after Woffinden was able to finish first in the final in front of Aretm Laguta and Emil Sayfutdinov.
Woffinden previously won his two other championships in 2013 and 2015.
Frederik Lindgren claimed third in the standings, with Maciej Janowski and Greg Hancock fourth and fifth.
Australian Jason Doyle finished up seventh in the standings on 93 points, with countryman Chris Holder 12th at the end of the season.
Moto2, Moto3
Francesco Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team VR46) has extended his Moto2 championship lead with a win in Thailand.
Bagnaia moved from sixth on the grid to first position on Lap 8 before a battle with the Red Bull KTM Ajo pairing Miguel Oliveira, his nearest title rival, and Brad Binder.
He made the decisive move on Lap 12 of 24 and quickly pulled a gap, before his team-mate Luca Marini helped out by catching and eventually passing the KTMs.
He got Oliveira on the final lap and the Portuguese rider finished third, one position ahead of Binder.
Remy Gardner (Tech3) finished 12th.
In Moto3, Fabio Di Giannantonio took victory while Jorge Martin’s championship lead grew with a fourth position finish after Marco Bezzecchi was taken down by Enea Bastianini at the last corner of the race.
Round 16 is the Japanese MotoGP on October 19-21.
