Jack Beeton
The AGI Sport driver finished just one step away from a Macau Grand Prix podium in the F4 feature race. He was the best of the challengers to the Prema Racing five car line-up in both of last Sunday’s morning Sprint and late 30-min afternoon outings.
Beeton finished fifth of the 24 starters in the Sprint which was held in wet and wild weather conditions. Beeton his debut was right behind the European powerhouse team which took out the first four spots.
The 30 minute Feature saw a race-long battle for the second with Beeton in the contest but a late Safety Car with two laps to go, thwarted his bid and the race finished under the cautionary situation.
AGI Sport get their next chance to take on European champions at the Sepang International Circuit later this month for Rounds 2 and 3 of the SE Asian F4 Championship. Beeton who currently sits second in the points, will be joined by Peter Bouzinelos and Nicolas Stati in a three-prong all Australian line-up.
Alex Ninovic/Noah Lisle/Griffin Peebles
The Spanish F4 Championship culminated at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with three Australians in the field. British team Rodin Carlin had Noah Lisle and rookie Alex Ninovic, and Griffin Peebles was with the Tecnica Motorsports.
Lisle was ninth in the first race while Peebles was 23rd and Ninovic a retirement. Both the Rodin Carlin drivers failed to finish the second race as Pebbles improved to 16th. In the last Ninovic was inside the top 10 at ninth, Peebles 13th and Lisle 19th.
