Michael Caruso’s Nissan Altima will run a special livery at Albert Park this weekend in support of mental health charity beyondblue.
To be unveiled in the Albert Park pitlane on Thursday morning ahead of first practice, the regular Norton yellow will be replaced by a white, yellow, red and blue look.
The livery will mark a continuation of the sponsor’s association with beyondblue, which appeared on the roof of both Norton Altimas at the Australian Grand Prix last year.
Norton also presented a $300,000 cheque to the not-for-profit at Bathurst last October.
Beyondblue chairman Jeff Kennett, who played a key role in luring the AGP to Melbourne 20 years ago during his time as Victorian premier, will be on hand for the launch.
Caruso sits 11th in the V8 Supercars Championship standings following the opening event of the season in Adelaide earlier this month.
He recorded finishes of 18th, eighth and 14th in the three Clipsal 500 races, with his Race 3 hurt by a late clash with Jamie Whincup.
The non-championship Albert Park event will see the V8 Supercars contest four sprint races.
