“Motorcycles have always been an important part of my life,” Lowndes said.
“I use a motorcrosser for fitness training every day on my farm and I love attending ride days to unwind, so I am super excited to be onboard with Suzuki.
“The new Suzuki GSX-R1000 is an awesome bike, just amazing, I can't believe how good it is, and the new RM-Z450 is a fantastic race-winning package.”
The four-time Bathurst winner and three-time Australian Champion will carry the Suzuki brand on his V8 Supercar helmet and racesuit, and will be a special guest at the Suzuki facility at this year's MotoGP, an event he attends regularly.
Suzuki Australia's General Manager of Motorcycles Perry Morison said that Lowndes is the perfect ambassador for the brand.
“By winning multiple championships, Craig has a demonstrated passion for performance on the race track that is perfectly matched to the Suzuki Motorcycle brand,” he said.
“He is an ideal person to represent the Suzuki brand.”
