The American squad has unveiled a one-off design for the Silverstone race, which coincides with the Fourth of July weekend.
Saturday’s sprint and grand prix qualifying will take place on July 4, the date of America’s 250th birthday, giving Cadillac the chance to celebrate its national identity at the venue that hosted the first F1 world championship race in 1950.
The team’s cars will carry a full-colour stars and stripes theme, replacing its usual look with a more patriotic red, white and blue design.
Cadillac will also extend the colour scheme across its garage, driver helmets and team kit.
“The 4th of July weekend is a moment for us to show our continued pride in representing the United States on the global stage of F1,” Cadillac CEO Dan Towriss said.
“We want to use it as an opportunity to allow new communities to discover the sport and share our passion.”
The Silverstone weekend comes after a difficult Austrian Grand Prix for Cadillac, with Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas both retiring with brake issues before Lap 5.
It marked the team’s first double retirement of its debut campaign, with Cadillac yet to score a point in its opening eight races.
Team principal Graeme Lowdon said the squad had seen positive signs from its Spielberg upgrade package despite the result.
“The Austrian Grand Prix was a challenge for us – but there is not one team in the pitlane that has not had similar days,” Lowdon said.
“We have been working incredibly hard to rectify the issues. We have seen that the upgrades brought to Spielberg were positive, and our objective in Silverstone is to ensure that we have a clean weekend to maximize the performance potential we see.
“We appreciate it’s a big task – especially coming so soon after Austria – but we will take every opportunity to learn, move forward and continue our progress as a team.”
Both Cadillac drivers have strong previous Silverstone experience, with Bottas having taken two poles and five podiums from 14 F1 appearances, while Perez set the fastest lap in 2021 and finished second in 2022.
Cadillac is the third team to reveal a special livery for the British Grand Prix weekend, joining McLaren and Williams in running a changed look.
