Fox Sports has moved to enhance its Supercars coverage for fans with the launch of a suite of new graphics at this weekend’s Adelaide 500.
The pay television network has made several changes to assist the viewer during its live coverage of all sessions from the 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
Changes to the in-race graphics are aimed to provide more information to tell the story behind the on screen action and mimic the Fox League look and recent updates to Fox Footy and Super Rugby coverage.
The totem pole results bar will provide sector times and splits which correspond to those seen in live timing.
The concept will be used for supports categories with viewers receiving their first taste today.
Fox Sports will also display new and improved graphics when presenting its drivers.
The changes coincide with a brand new television show called Supercars Trackside which will air for the first time this evening.
It will be hosted by Jessica Yates and featuring fellow presenters Mark Skaife, Russell Ingall, Neil Crompton, Greg Murphy and Riana Crehan.
Broadcast on Thursdays and Sunday during event weekend the program will replace the Inside Supercars panel show.
