Tony Kanaan will join the four-car Ford GT raid launched by Chip Ganassi Racing on the Rolex Daytona 24 race later next month.
A member of Ganassi's IndyCar squad, the veteran Brazilian will join WEC GT mainstays Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell in the #69 Ford.
The 41-year-old's confirmation in Ganassi's concerted push in the GTLM class comes as the powerful team completes its formidable line-up.
Fellow Ganassi IndyCar driver Scott Dixon will join the #67 entry alongside Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook.
Sebastien Bourdais, Joey Hand and Dirk Muller will crew the #66 machine while reigning Continental Tyre Challenge GS class champion Billy Johnson has been added to the #68 machine with Stefan Mucke and Olivier Pla.
The Daytona 24 Hour will open the 2017 MSA Weathertech Championship on January 28-29.
