Scott McLaughlin’s defence of his V8 SuperTourer Championship remains in tatters after a crazy pile-up at the first corner of the first race at Hampton Downs.

Andre Heimgartner, driving the MPC Motorsport Commodore, was roundly scolded for his part in the incident which involved seven cars.
