Andre Heimgartner has won the final race of the Carrera Cup and in the process the weekend on a count-back from David Wall.
It means both drivers leave Adelaide on the same points ahead of the next event at the Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Off the start, Cameron McConville got the jump to head Wall, before Heimgartner forced his way into second place.
McConville built an early lead, but he badly flat spotted a front-right. Then on lap #6 he was passed by both Heimgartner and Wall. Then over the following laps McConville slipped down the order as the battle up front heated up.
Wall sat in behind Heimgartner for 14 laps, but the Kiwi was unmoved and he went on to take the chequered flag on what was his first round in the series since 2012.
Dylan O’Keeffe put in a great drive to claim third in the race, while Jaxon Evans scored third overall for the weekend.

Stephen Grove completed a sweep in the Tag Heuer Carrera Challenge for the semi-professional drivers.
The Carrera Cup will be back in action with a four-race event at the Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne 23-26 March.
