Before we look at Paul Morris Motorsport's chances in the endurance races, there's a few questions that should be answered first.
Equipment? Tick. Speed? Tick. Drivers? Tick.
Results? Not yet.
Paul Morris Motorsport's two V8 entries – the #39 Supercheap Auto car and the #49 VIP Petfoods car – are among the best prepared in pit lane, but for a number of reasons, consistent strong results have not been forthcoming.
But it's not all bad news. During the early rounds of the season, Russell Ingall and Steve Owen were languishing deep in the 20s in the championship. Heading into the endurance races, Owen has moved up to 16th and Ingall is 20th.
For the enduros, Ingall will be paired by (Endurance Countdown expert) Jack Perkins, while Owen has team owner Paul Morris in his corner.
Again, drivers won't be the factor that lets this squad down. Can they turn around their season with the ultimate prize?
