American-based James Davison will be reunited with the TRG team for the Pirelli World Challenge opener at St Petersburg next month.
Davison will pilot the LaSalle Solutions #007 V12 Aston Martin Vantage in the GT class.
The son of former Sandown promoter Jon Davison finished second in the PWC race in the AE Replay XD Nissan GT Academy team GTR at the Florida street track last year.
“I am excited to be rejoining TRG and the Aston Martin brand after much success together the past three years,” Davison said.
“The Vantage GT3 promises to be strong on the St. Petersburg streets and we look to go one spot better than my second place finish last year.”
TRG (The Racer’s Group) team owner Kevin Buckler is buoyed by the quality of the program his squad has put together.
“We have put together a formidable team and we are coming here to run up front and put on a terrific show for our friends, partners, and fans at this wonderful venue”, Buckler said.
“We have brought out the big guns with both, the powerful Aston Martin Vantage 007 V12 GT3 and of course our former team driver and Australian star, James Davison.”
