Jamie Veal has banked $10,000 after taking his first Enzed World Series Sprintcar A-Main victory at Adelaide's Speedway City, which doubled as the George Tatnell Cup.
Significantly for Veal, he played his double point Joker Card at Speedway City and was the first driver to have taken a win under the Joker. From a Championship perspective, second placed Steven Lines has now eclipsed third placed man James McFadden as Series leader.
Lines too was on a double point Joker.
“I can't thank my Dad and Jeff Judd enough,” said Veal. “We've been on a really good roll since the Lismore World Series round and tonight caps off a great month so far.”
Brooke Tatnell lamented not being able to take the trophy named in honour of his famous father when the #2 Krikke Motorsport hotrod expired with an engine issue whilst in the top four.
Robbie Farr was one of many who exited the finale, rolling the Eastcoast Pipelines #7.
Lines holds a slender 84 point lead as the Series heads across the Nullabor to the Perth Motorplex next Friday night.
