Lucky 7 is using its sponsorship of Tim Slade’s V8 Supercar to promote two new concepts for the remaining rounds of the 2011 V8 Supercars Championship.
The bonnet of the Lucky 7 Falcon will now display its association with Video Ezy and Blockbuster video stores, promoting a new in-store alliance between the pair.
Also, the rear quarter panels of the #47 car will see the rear-quarter panel rotate through a variety of Lucky 7 supplier’s brands throughout the rest of the season.
This weekend, Samboy potato chips has taken ownership of the rear-quarter.
“Essentially we’re capitalising on our relationship with SBR to help raise the profile of the two concepts we are currently piloting,” said Craig Matthews, National Marketing Manager for Lucky 7.
“A race-by-race rotation of brands on the #47 Falcon allows a more flexible platform for our partners, which can be customised according to their requirements and timings such as new product launches.
“SBR and V8 Supercars provide us with a fantastic medium through which we can reach our audience, and Tim’s recent strong performances certainly help our cause.”
Slade is currently 13th in the V8 Supercars Championship and is coming off the back of his best result, having finished fourth in Sunday’s race at Hidden Valley.
