The team unveiled a one-off design for its VCARB 03 that draws on football culture, linking the championship’s visit to one of the sport’s most iconic cities with the opening weekend of the tournament across Canada, Mexico and the United States.
It marks the third special livery Racing Bulls has introduced this season, following earlier one-off designs in Japan and Miami.
The Barcelona concept blends motorsport and football aesthetics, with a custom VCARB FC crest combining a chequered flag and three stars in a nod to the World Cup’s host nations.
The rest of the design is described as “sharp geometry, angular shapes and bold contrasts” which it says “creates a distinctive aesthetic designed to resonate on race day, match day and as part of everyday streetwear.”

Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer said the initiative, dubbed “VCARB FC”, was built around the shared cultural weight of the two sports.
“Formula 1 and football are two global sports with incredibly passionate communities, united by a shared sense of identity, creativity and culture,” he said.
“With VCARB FC, we’re celebrating that crossover, bringing together the energy of both sports.
“We’re also proud to give emerging talent the opportunity to help shape campaigns like this, bringing fresh perspectives that continue to push the boundaries in the world of F1.”
Three creatives from the team’s platform contributed across fashion, graphic design and photography, with their work integrated into the car and garage presentation.
Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad will carry the livery on track, with the concept drawing on grassroots football influences.
Racing Bulls enter the Barcelona weekend off the back of their strongest result of the season in Monaco, where Lawson finished fifth and Lindblad sixth, leaving the team two points behind Alpine in the constructors’ championship.
