Petch reacted following Speedcafe.co.nz's story this morning CLICK HERE which broke the news that Fabian Coulthard has been offered a drive in the International 500 at Pukekohe from October 26-28.

Petch has denied at any stage ever saying “We don't need V8 Supercars (in New Zealand)”.
