Morris, Woods join Aussie Racing Cars in Darwin

Paul Morris and Bill Hynes will both race in Aussie Racing Cars this weekend

Paul Morris and 2017 series runner-up Craig Woods have joined the Aussie Racing Cars field for this weekend’s Drive the NT Challenge at Hidden Valley.

Morris is a former race winner in the category in Darwin and waged a thrilling battle with Adam Uebergang in 2015.

He also made a cameo appearance in the series’ last visit to the Top End in 2016, and will this weekend be joined by fellow current Stadium Super Trucks competitor Bill Hynes.

The American Hynes has two previous starts in Aussie Racing Cars, in Adelaide and at Barbagallo in 2017.

Woods, who leads the inaugural ECB SuperUtes Series, is also making a one-off start after four race wins in Aussie Racing Cars last year.

Another former regular in Adam Uebergang also joins the grid.

Tickets for the 2026 betr Darwin Triple Crown are on sale now. Secure your spot today.

As previously reported, recently confirmed Matt Stone Racing Pirtek Enduro Cup driver and Darwin native Bryce Fullwood will make his debut in the series this weekend.

Aussie Racing Cars will be on-track during the opening day of the CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown for Practice at 1010 and Qualifying at 1325 (local times; add 30 minutes for AEST).
