On Lap 4, Ryan Pring’s #333 machine stepped sideways through Turn 4, clipping Hardy Martin and sending both cars into a spin in the middle of the circuit.
Pring’s car was then collected by the #16 of Scott Morgan, before Nathan Predo appeared on the scene with nowhere to go, colliding with Pring heavily.
Several cars were left with no room to avoid and piled into the incident, including Bruce French, Scott Melville, and Mark Duckworth among others.
TV footage showed medical personnel present on the scene, with all drivers appearing to climb from their cars unscathed.
The race was red flagged shortly after the saftey car was deployed.
Race 5 was declared after a lengthy clean-up, with Josh Craig taking the round win.
Take the short survey.
