Wickham, 16, led home his teammate Jack Perkins, with the Triple Eight pair crossing the line in a formation finish.
The victory was enough to give Wickham the round victory in his series debut.
After building a comfortable gap in the closing laps, Wickham slowed while exiting the final corner, allowing Perkins to pull alongside and the pair to cross the line together.
Josh Trappett came home in third place ahead of Joe Fawcett following an enthralling battle, while Matt Kiss rounded out the top five.
After a flawless performance in Race 1, disaster struck Josh Anderson on the opening lap following a battle for the lead with Perkins.
Perkins made a decisive move at Turn 4 to take the lead, with Anderson running wide at Turn 5 while attempting to stay around the outside.

Following more overnight rain, the championship leader spun in the wet grass and was unable to recover, drawing the safety car.
In a double blow for the #94, Anderson found himself off the road again at Turn 3 while catching up to the pack.
Adding to the opening lap chaos, Imogen Radburn was spun at Turn 2 following contact with Patrick Neville.
As Radburn’s #29 Mustang rotated, Neville collided with the rear of her car, resulting in significant right front suspension damage for the TA2 racer.
Perkins held the lead on the restart, with Wickham pushing hard to take second spot away from Trappett.
Wickham eventually goaded Trappett into running wide through Turn 2, allowing the teenager through to second spot.
After a handful of laps, the Formula Ford star had caught Perkins, taking the lead at Turn 1.
Trappett and Fawcett set about an intense battle for third position, which saw Fawcett run wide at the exit of Turn 1 twice, damaging the front splitter of the #23.
Radburn battled back through to finish sixth despite the damage, taking the spot from Brock Giblin in the closing stages.
John Goodacre claimed Dark Horse Legends class honours in eighth position outright, ahead of Keith Kassulke.
Anderson was able to re-join the race several laps down, finishing 10th and claiming crucial points.
