The Sydney-based teenager will make the step up to Carrera Cup with Porsche stalwarts McElrea Racing, the squad with which he competes in the second tier Sprint Challenge.
The 17-year-old moved up to Pro ranks this season having previously contested Class B for older spec machinery.
Across nine races this season, Quimby has taken six top five finishes and sits inside the top 10 in the standings.
The Darwin event marks the first of three planned Carrera Cup starts in 2026 for Quimby, set to gain valuable experience towards his long-term goal of becoming a Porsche factory driver.

Quimby made the move back to Australia and into tin tops in 2025 after a tenure in the US F4 Championship, which he won in his rookie season.
The young charger will have the opportunity to once again compete against several drivers whom he raced with in Sprint Challenge last year, including Jake Santalucia, Ryan Casha and Tom Bewley.
Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia will hold a new ‘Enduro’ format at the Darwin Triple Crown, comprising two 45-minute races.
The series returns for Round 2 on June 19-21, having not raced for more than 100 days since the Australian Grand Prix.
In stark contrast, Michelin Sprint Challenge has held three events since Carrera Cup’s season opener, allowing Quimby to stay race ready.
