Kiwi touring car legend Greg Murphy has described the Father’s Day 400 field at Taupo as the strongest domestic series event since the heady days of the Wellington street race.

Murphy says that notwithstanding New Zealand’s annual leg of the V8 Supercar Championship Series, the inaugural co-driver V8 SuperTourer race has lured a rich pool of talent from both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres.
