The Shannons Nationals has released its nine round 2015 calendar, featuring minimal changes over this year's schedule.
The season again sees one event per month between March and November, starting at Melbourne's Sandown Raceway and finishing at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Two visits each to SMP and Phillip Island continue, as do single appearances at Mallala, Winton, Queensland Raceway and Wakefield Park.
Two rounds notably clash with V8 Supercars events; a situation that Shannons Nationals series director Rob Curpatrick says was unavoidable.
The March 27-29 Sandown opener coincides with V8 Supercars' visit to Symmons Plains, while April 17-19 sees the Nationals at Mallala while the V8s are in Perth.
“We are very pleased with our 2015 schedule that offers our competitors and categories stability with dates and locations and allows them to lock in travel plans early for next year,” said Curkpatrick.
“We have a great working relationship with all of the circuits where the Shannons Nationals competes and continue to work with them all to promote and grow each event.
“There is a great willingness from everyone involved to continue to build our individual events and date equity is key to that.
“In some instances we have had dates locked in with circuits for six months and it has been a challenge to avoid significant clashes.
“We have worked hard to make sure that any conflicts with other events will not adversely affect categories, volunteer officials or the promoters' local market.
“The two rounds early in the season that clash with other major events, are in different states and were just unavoidable given the busy schedule most circuits have these days.
“We're very comfortable with our product for next year and offering our competitors, stakeholders and competing categories the best value national series around.”
The Shannons Nationals will next year continue its quest to spread ‘marquee races' for its categories throughout the season.
AMChamp enduros are slated for Sandown, Phillip Island, Queensland Raceway and Wakefield Park.
The Clem Smith Cup returns for the Kerrick Sports Sedans at Mallala, while the Australian 101 is set for a second year for the Australian GT Championship at Phillip Island, and the Super 6 Touring Cars will feature at Winton.
