Dalton (#43 BRT Ford Mustang) was unchallenged for the entire race distance, taking a comfortable victory.
It was a dose of much-needed redemption for a late mistake in the first race of the weekend, which cost him a podium.
Campbell Logan (#56 Tickford Mustang) scored second place, enough to seal his first Super2 round win.
Reuben Goodall (#5 Tickford Mustang) came home in third place, ahead of Bayley Hall (#54 Eggleston Holden Commodore).
Nash Morris (#55 Tickford Mustang) crossed the line second, but a penalty for contact with Brad Vaughan (#80 BJR Commodore) saw him demoted to fifth.
Vaughan was able to quickly recover, holding on to sixth, but ultimately still finishing behind Morris.

Morris got the initial jump over Dalton at the start, before the #55 Tickford Mustang burst into wheelspin, allowing Dalton to seize the lead.
Vaughan capitalised on the poor second phase of Morris’ start to take second spot around the outside of Turn 1.
Further in the pack, Matt Stone Racing’s Tommy Smith was elbowed wide into the grass on the Turn 1 exit in a battle with Zak Best.
As the field settled into a rhythm, Toyota 86 graduate Matt Hillyer came unstuck through Turn 10, running slightly wide before making contact with and helping Jordyn Sinni off the road at the final corner.
Hillyer was handed a 15s penalty for the incident, losing more time less than 10 laps later by running off at the first corner.
Tickford’s Ben Gomersall came unstuck on Lap 10 with a right rear tyre failure following side-to-side contact with Cody Burcher.
The second-generation racer limped the #6 Mustang backed to the pits and was able to continue a lap down on the leaders.
Contact with Alice Buckley on Lap 20 undid Sinni’s recovery drive, sending the TA2 race winner shooting through the run-off at Turn 5.
Sinni was handed a 15s penalty of his own for the incident.
Eggleston teammates Elliott Cleary (#38 Commodore), and Burcher (#36 Commodore) came home seventh and eighth.
Bradi Owen (#88 Commodore) came home ninth, rounding out an Eggleston trio, while Ryan Tomsett (#17 AMS Mustang) finished in 10th spot.
The Dunlop Super2 Series returns at the Perth Super440 from July 31-August 2.
