“It’s fantastic to see and welcome them back to our great city.
“We also know how much this brings and means for the economy and the business operators in Townsville.
“It’s not just a great to event to hold for our local spectators and local sports fans, but for what it means for the accommodation providers, the hospitality providers, and the tourism operators.
“A lot of people come to the city for this event and they stay for everything else that we have to offer, whether it be the food, the sights and the sounds and everything else we have to offer here in Townsville.
“Another great event, and we look forward to hosting it again next year.”
