There were no changes at the top end of town with Grove Racing cementing its place in the lead of the teams’ championship.
That was thanks to a weekend that saw Matt Payne on the podium in all three races, including a dominant win on Saturday.
That’s widened the gap to Triple Eight, which has held onto the second garage despite a weekend of experimenting with set-ups on its Ford Mustangs that meant a sixth place each for Broc Feeney and Will Brown were the highlights.
Tickford Racing continues to sit third in the standings amid a mid-season resurgence that saw Cam Waters take a second win of the year on the Friday in Townsville and finish no lower than fourth across the weekend.
Walkinshaw TWG Racing remains in fourth place, however it will have new neighbours come Perth later this month.
A standout weekend for Brodie Kostecki, which yielded three podiums including victory on Sunday, has seen the famous Ford squad jump GM homologation squad Team 18 for fifth place.

The biggest mover in the field is Matt Stone Racing which jumped both Brad Jones Racing and Blanchard Racing Team to end up seventh in the standings coming out of Townsville.
That was largely down to the efforts of Jack Le Brocq who scored an 11th and two ninth place finishes, which also helped him back above the Finals cut-off line in the drivers’ standings.
BJR and BRT are now eighth and ninth respectively, both squads enduring horror weekends on the streets of Townsville.
PremiAir Racing remains 10th, but is now within 100 points of BRT, while Erebus continues to anchor the standings for two-car teams in 11th.
