Jamie Whincup took to the Dunsfold Aerodrome ahead of the Goodwood Festival of Speed where the Ford Mustang Supercar will join a throng of contemporary and classic Ford race cars.
It was one of several cars to take to the airfield as part of a Ford Racing experience.
Other machines to take to the airfield included a Ford GT Mk IV, the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E EV, the Ford SuperVan 4.0, and a Ford Mustang Dark Horse R.
Whincup was joined in the passenger seat by former F1 mechanic turned commentator Calum Nicholas and F1 content creator Bella James.
The seven-time Supercars champion will be behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang at the Goodwood Festival of Speed across July 9-12.
Ford Racing’s line-up also includes Colin McRae’s 2001 Ford Focus, a Ford Raptor T1+ and a Ford Puma Rally1 car.
Alongside the Ford Mustang Supercar, Whincup will also drive a Ford Mustang GTD Spirit of America at Goodwood.
