Tributes flow for MotoGP champion Hayden

The motorsport fraternity has paid tribute to 2006 MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden who succumbed to severe head injuries sustained in a cycling crash in Italy last week.

A statement released this morning confirmed the passing of the popular American, known as ‘The Kentucky Kid’, who enjoyed a successful motorcycle career in MotoGP and the World Superbike Championship.

The 35-year-old’s tragic death has sparked a flood tributes from across the world to commemorate the life of the motorcycle great.
