Shane van Gisbergen has maintained his blistering form, clocking the fastest time of the day in Practice 3 at Pukekohe Park.
As he did in the previous session van Gisbergen (VIP Petfoods Commodore) pounced in the dying seconds to clock a 1:03.0886s to edge out David Wall (Wilson Security Commodore).
Irwin Tools Racing Erebus driver Lee Holdsworth has shown the E63 Mercs have improved in outright grunt to be third quickest in 1:03.5205s.
Dean Fiore had nailed the quickest time with 10 minutes remaining in the session and ultimately finished with the fourth fastest ahead of DJR’s Tim Blanchard, Alex Premat, Garth Tander, James Courtney, Will Davison and Todd Kelly.
