GT-1
Jake Camilleri took out the first round of the GT-1 Australia Series as part of the second round of the Australian Motor Racing Series at Mallala Motorsport Park.
Clint Harvey won the first 50-minute race of the weekend aboard a MARC II Mustang, ahead of pole-sitter Camilleri (MARC II Mustang), while John Goodacre rounded out the Race 1 podium.
Race 2 saw a lengthy red flag period after the Audi of Rod Salmon crashed on the back straight, with Camilleri prevailing after a late race battle to clinch the victory as Harvey and Rio Nugara rounded out the podium.
Legend Cars
James Burge dominated the weekend in the Legend Cars Australia series, taking a clean sweep of race victories.
Brendan Hourigan finished second in Race 1, before Ben Jagger claimed second position in Race 2 and 3.
Stephen Chilby grabbed third in Race 1 and 3, while the Race 2 podium was completed by Hourigan.
Miniature Race Cars
Chad Cotton clean swept the Miniature Race Cars, despite blowing an engine on the Race 2 cool down lap.
Peter Griffiths ended runner up in Race 1, while Jase Collins claimed second in Race 2, before dropping down the order in the following hit outs.
It was Craig McWhite who clinched second in both Race 3 and 4, with Griffiths completing the podium in the final two races.
IROC / Group 4 / Utes
In Combined Sedans, Sven Burchartz won three of the four IROC Challenge races for the weekend, with Greg Keene taking out the Race 3 win followed by Burchartz and Rohan Little who finished third in all four of the races.
The mixed class race also included sub category Aussie Racing Utes, with Charlie Kovacs winning the the round ahead of Richard Mork and Clint Henderson.
Meanwhile, Brent Edwards took Super Six Touring Car honours.
