Saturday lounge-lovers will be in for a treat, with the Seven Network’s V8XTRA program taking viewers for a behind-the-scenes look at the Toll Holden Racing Team’s V8 Supercars facility.
The 30 minute program will air tomorrow (Saturday) at 12pm. Check your local guides for full details.
This year, Toll HRT celebrates its 20th anniversary, and in that time has become the most successful team in Australian Touring Car and V8 Supercar history. To name a few of the team’s achievements, HRT has won six Bathurst 1000s and six championships.
And if you’re a HRT fan, you can’t miss tomorrow’s V8XTRA episode. It looks back over highs and lows of the ‘Ferrari’ of V8 Supercars.
Hosted by Neil Crompton and Mark Larkham and attended by a horde of factory Holden lovers, the program previews next weekend’s first V8 endurance race at Phillip Island.
Team drivers Garth Tander and Will Davison are part of the show, and without giving too much away, a special guest pops for a brief performance …
Larkham takes a look at a modern day driver change scenario while Crompton delves deep into the team’s season so far as well as their 2009 Phillip Island and Bathurst 1000 victories.
V8XTRA will air tomorrow (Saturday 4 September) at 12pm on the Seven Network.
This is the third time the V8XTRA cameras have probed inside V8 team workshops this year. Earlier this year, Kelly Racing and the Ford Performance Racing were visited by Crompton and Co.
See below for the V8XTRA program which aired from the Kelly Racing shop.
