Ben Bargwanna, son of Bathurst 1000 winner Jason Bargwanna, will sport a new look at the second Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series round this weekend.
The #71 Peugeot 308 will carry backing from Precision Automotive Equipment, a subsidiary of Burson Auto Parts, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
The car will also feature Rotary and Hunter branding atop the bonnet, which is distributed by Precision Automotive Equipment.
The car was launched at the Garry Rogers Motorsport workshop in Dandenong South, Melbourne today ahead of Round 2 of the series.
“It’s great that Burson is using its partnership with our team to showcase the wide range of brands that are under the Burson umbrella,” said Bargwanna.
“The yellow look is really going to stand out amongst the TCR field, so you definitely won’t be able to miss my Peugeot.
“I love the Phillip Island circuit. I’ve raced there plenty of times, and it’s always an awesome place to compete.
“We had the test day there back in January and that was very successful, and the times between the field was really close, so we know we are in for a fight when we hit the track.”
This weekend TCR Australia heads to the Phillip Island alongside the VHT S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, and National Trans Am.
Two practice sessions will be held on Friday, followed by Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday with Race 2 and Race 3 on Sunday.
All of Saturday and Sunday’s action will be broadcast live and free on the screens of Channel Seven in Australia, Sky Sport in New Zealand.
