The trailer for the Brabham documentary feature has been released ahead of its Australian premiere at next month’s Brisbane International Film Festival.
Brabham explores Sir Jack’s ride to legendary status as a three-time Formula 1 world champion, including becoming the only person to ever win the title in a car of their own construction.
Directed by Ákos Armont and co-written by Armont and Tony Davis, it features archival footage of Brabham’s career and includes interviews with Sir Jackie Stewart, the late John Surtees, Sir Stirling Moss, and Bernie Ecclestone.
The documentary, which is narrated by Aimee Horne and distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Transmission Films, also looks at Sir Jack’s impact on son David, outright winner of the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans and managing director of Brabham Automotive.
Brabham will have a red carpet premiere at the Brisbane International Film Festival on Sunday, October 6 and a second screening at the festival on Wednesday, October 9.
