Former Formula 1 driver Christian Klien has been confirmed to drive the second Supercheap Auto Commodore for the opening V8 SuperTourer endurance race at Taupo from September 1-2.
Klien will partner Geoff Emery in the # 12 Holden in the Father's Day 400 at Ricoh Motorsports Park and is confirmed for the remaining two races at Pukekohe and Powerbuilt Raceway in Christchurch.
The announcement completes the line-up for the 20 cars which will compete at Taupo in two split 200km races.
