The stage is set for the Wilson Security Sandown 500 after the completion of the morning warm-up.
Teams undertook final preparations for the afternoon’s race during the 20 minutes, with each car running through full race simulation pitstops.
An early 1:09.69s lap from James Courtney proved the fastest time, 0.03s ahead of David Reynolds.
Both drivers set their times before handing over to respective co-drivers Greg Murphy and David Reynolds for the second half of the session.
The Russell Ingall/Tim Blanchard Holden, Chaz Mostert/Paul Morris Ford and Jason Bright/Andrew Jones Holden completed the top five.
The session ran green for its duration, with separate offs from Brad Jones Racing team-mates Luke Youlden and Dale Wood at Turn 1 the only notable incidents.
The Sandown 500 is scheduled to start at 1340 local time.
