Stone Brothers Racing has launched its 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series outfit at its workshop at Yatala, Queensland, tonight.
The special charity cocktail party for corporate guests and fans saw the unveiling of the team’s four cars – three in the Championship Series, and one for the Fujitsu V8 Series.
Alex Davison (#4 IRWIN Industrial Tools), Shane van Gisbergen (#9 SP Tools) and Tim Slade (#47 (Wilson Security) will drive the team’s Championship Series cars, while 16-year-old Scott McLaughlin was confirmed as the team’s Fujitsu V8 Series driver – coincidentally, with sponsorship from Fujitsu General.
The #47 Slade entry features major support from Wilson Security, Doric and East Coast Traffic Control, plus bonnet signage from Lucky 7.
As reported earlier today, Lucky 7 adorns the rear quarter panels of the #4 and #9 car, with added backing from Fuchs on the front bar.
Speedcafe.com.au was sent these photos from a fan at the launch.
Stay tuned for more news on Monday, but in the meantime, here is a sneak peek of SBR’s 2010 V8 challengers …
