Ricky Taylor has secured the second seat at Garry Rogers Motorsport for this October’s Armor All Gold Coast 600.
Taylor, 23, is a Rolex Sports Car Series driver, competing for the SunTrust Racing Chevrolet Corvette, driving alongside Italian Max Angelelli.
The 23-year-old adds to the Victorian Holden team’s other recent signing of Canadian IndyCar star James Hinchcliffe.
Taylor is looking forward to his V8 debut.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to race with Garry Rogers team at the Gold Coast,” said Taylor.
“I have heard a lot about the event and can’t wait to participate.”
Taylor will compete in his final Rolex Sports Car Series race at Lime Rock Park at the end of September.
