Australian driver Jake Parsons scored a sizzling come-from-behind win to claim the AsiaCup Series at Sepang.
After starting from a lowly sixth place Parsons took the lead at two-thirds distance when leader Daniel Woodroof suffered transmission problems.
The win takes Parsons' tally to eight of nine this season.
“That's probably the best way it could have worked out – to win the race to become champion,” Parsons said.
“That was the lowest starting position I've had, but probably one of the best starts I've had too.
There are three rounds remaining of the AsiaCup Series this weekend.
