Will Davison will run in the colours of the Disney’s Lightning McQueen for the Red Rooster Sydney Super Sprint next weekend.
The one-off livery is the result of Supercars’ partnership with Disney Pixar’s Cars movie franchise.
Davison’s Holden has been transformed into the iconic red and orange livery utilised by McQueen in the Cars films with the Commodore switching from its regular #19 to #95 for next weekend’s races.
The freshly liveried car will be on display at Tekno Autosports’ new headquarters at Yatala, which will open its doors to the public on Sunday for a grand opening.
However, this is not the first time the Cars movie franchise has appeared on the circuit.
Meanwhile, Davison heads to Sydney eager to recover from a difficult Coates Hire Ipswich Super Sprint that was ended by a suspension issue which caused two freak left front tyre failures in the Sunday race.
