Martin Truex Jnr has come from the rear of the grid after an inspection failure to win the postponed Dover NASCAR Cup race.
Truex Jnr and Joe Gibbs Racing managed to get the #19 Toyota up to 12th at the end of the first, 120-lap stage at the ‘Monster Mile’ before he made the Stage 2-winning pass on Alex Bowman on the final lap before the break.
He continued to show the way until what would be his final pit stop, taken under green flag, on Lap 320, but was over nine seconds up on the field when the chequered flag came after 400 laps.
Bowman started the final stage in second and while he dropped behind Kevin Harvick before the final pit stops, the #88 Chevrolet got back to the runner-up position, where it stayed until the end.
Kyle Larson took third, from Harvick and pole-sitter Chase Elliott.
Kyle Busch leads the series after finishing in the top 10 for a record-equalling 11th consecutive race to start the season, having matched his result of 10th from a week prior despite a brush with the wall.
The series heads to Kansas for night racing on May 10-11 (local time).
