Australia’s third-generation racer Matthew Brabham, has set the fastest time in both practice sessions of the Pro Mazda Championship Powered by Cooper Tires at St Petersburg in Florida.
After winning the second race of the season-opener at the Circuit of Americas in Austin, Brabham sits second in the points standings to Venezuelan Diego Ferreira coming into this weekend’s racing.
“It’s great to have a good car right out of the box because it helps throughout the whole weekend,” said Brabham.
“We’re in a good position for qualifying, so we are confident that we can go out tomorrow and try to fight for the pole, fight for the race win and fight for the Championship lead.”
