The 16-year-old from Orange, New South Wales stunned in the final British F4 race of the weekend to take his first series victory.
As a result of winning Race 3, the teenager was awarded the BRDC International Trophy.
First awarded to Formula 1 stars from 1950-1980, the trophy was then presented for Formula 2 and later Formula 3000 events.
Following a short stint in Historic F1, the prize was revived for the first time since 2012, now awarded during the British F4 round at Silverstone.
Proudford-Nalder’s success sees him join the likes of Sir Jackie Stewart, Jim Clark, James Hunt, Niki Lauda, Mark Webber, and many more greats of global motorsport as winners of the trophy.
The teenager fought off a hard-charging Lewis Wherrell for the Race 3 win, coming home just 0.158s clear of the Brit.

Despite an early red flag forcing a full restart, Proudford-Nalder converted a pole position start into an early lead.
Wherrell quickly jumped from fourth through to second place, and with clean air set about chasing down the leader.
With a little over 10 minutes remaining, Wherrell was tucked under the rear wing of the leader.
The pair crossed the line to start the final lap side-by-side and stayed alongside one another on the run down to the Maggotts-Becketts section of the circuit.
Proudford-Nalder kept his nose ahead and forced Wherrell to concede the place, allowing a clear run to the finish.
The British F4 Championship heads to Zandvoort in the Netherlands on July 11-12.
Proudford-Nalder sits seventh in the standings with six rounds remaining in the season.
