GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia return to headline the event, with a depleted support line-up featuring only the core SpeedSeries categories.

Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia is the only other SpeedSeries regular to join GT Festival Darwin, with the Territory Tourers drafted in as the fourth and final category.

Territory Tourers offers a unique touch to the SpeedSeries undercard, with a mix of production-based classes competing, a throwback to the Shannons Nationals lineage of the SpeedSeries.

The category is expected to be comprised of Improved Production cars, Commodore Cup, Hyundai Excels, and Holden HQs.

On-track action commences on Friday at 12:50pm ACST with practice sessions for all categories.

Saturday will see all categories qualify and the first races of the weekend, while Mustang Cup qualify again on Sunday ahead of its second and final race.

Fans will be treated to multiple free public grid walks ahead of each GTWC race and Sunday’s Mustang Cup finale, offering Territorian fans a unique opportunity to see GT machinery up close.

Fox Sports and Kayo will air the weekend’s action commencing from 10:00am ACST on Saturday and 9:00am Sunday. There is no Friday broadcast of the event.

The Shannons SpeedSeries GT Festival Darwin will be held on July 24-26
