Creating a point of difference between the Nationals event and a regular season round is the speedway-style format consisting of heat races, a qualifying dash, a B-Main, and an A-Main feature.

Drivers will battle it out for over $40,000 in prizes, with $10,000 up for grabs for the outright winner.

The highest placed Legend Cars regular will also earn an Aussie Racing Cars drive thanks to TFH Racing.

Making up the bulk of the field is a host of Legend Cars regulars, including the last three Australian title holders – young gun Ruben Dan, Ryan Pring, and Shane Tate.

Making highly anticipated circuit racing debuts will be four of Australian speedway’s best.

Sprintcar champion Jock Goodyer, Speedcar champion Kaidon Brown, and Super Sedan champions Joel Berkley and Callum Harper will each hit the tarmac for the first time.

Genuine contenders for a chance at the national title will be the top three in the regular championship following Round 1 at The Bend – Dylan Thomas, Chais Tippett, and Riley Skinner.

Series regulars turned Porsche racers Josh and Diesel Thomas feature in the field, while Super2 star Nash Morris makes his series debut in a last-minute entry.

Maverick Kemenyvary and Jack De Boynton will look to bounce back after a tough start at The Bend, completing only a handful of laps in Race 1 before a heavy crash ended their weekends.

The AASA Legends Nationals will be broadcast on Clay-Per-View from 6:30pm on Saturday April 25 and 2:15pm on Sunday April 26.
