Greg Murphy believes that the TeamVodafone/Ford Performance Racing juggernaut will again prove impossible to stop at next month’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, where everyone else will simply be “making up the numbers.”
The two squads have won the last 23 consecutive races leading into Bathurst in a streak that stretches back to Kelly Racing’s triumph at Sandown in November 2011.
That wet weather win from Rick Kelly is in fact the only victory by an ‘outsider’ since the Holden Racing Team’s success at Bathurst 12 months ago.
